Supported Play in the Pool
Why do children need to play?
What are the different types of play we see in the pool?
How does play help children to learn about themselves & their environment?
The pool is a unique place for babies & children to explore & experiment in; as Aquatic Educators we are the facilitators of opening up space for our learners to engage with their own movements, push boundaries that dry-land can restrict & to offer 'Cultural Capital' to help with orientating their future...it's never just a swim class when you take time to play...growth, expansion & development can be achieved calmly & easily when you have 'Supported Play in the Pool'
